Learning for Students Ages Birth-4

Our youngest students will spend their day exploring the topics of science, music, art, and gym through hands-on and visual learning activities as well as free play that keep their minds and bodies engaged.

We are excited to have our children explore science through the seasons, beat, rhythm, and how to use their bodies as instruments, gym, art, as well as special story time with Mrs. Miller.

Just as important as academics are the social/emotional learning that comes through peer interactions, relationships, learning how to interact and behave in a group setting, and the critical character development that happens during group learning.

This class is provided as a service to our enrolled families and is open to siblings of students in the older three classes.

The Friday Schedule

9:30 a.m.- Students arrive, and the day will be opened with prayer. We will then move through a devotional as a large group.

10:00 a.m.— Our science class is studying science through the seasons, so the youngest group will explore science as they experience the world around them.

10:50 a.m.-

11:25 a.m.— Our youngest two groups will share lunch together.

12:00 p.m.- In music, the focus is on actively working all the muscles that make strong musicians: beat and rhythm, ear training, and creative instruction, using mainly their voices and bodies as instruments.

The elementary group will join the preschool group for music.

12:35 p.m.-  Always a favorite, Mrs Miller will be returning to lead story time.

1:20 p.m.- Our elementary and preschool-aged students will be joining together to do physical education activities to end their day.
